Canadian Alliance
The Canadian Alliance was a political party in Canada that existed from 2000 to 2003. It was formed through the merger of the Reform Party and the Canadian Conservative Party, aiming to unite the right-wing political spectrum in Canada. The party sought to promote conservative values, fiscal responsibility, and a smaller government.
In 2003, the Canadian Alliance merged with the Progressive Conservative Party to create the Conservative Party of Canada. This new party aimed to consolidate conservative support and provide a stronger alternative to the Liberal Party of Canada, which had been dominant in Canadian politics at the time.
