Can-Am League
The Can-Am League was a professional baseball league in North America that operated from 2005 to 2019. It featured teams primarily located in Canada and the northeastern United States, providing a platform for players to showcase their skills outside of Major League Baseball. The league was known for its competitive play and served as a stepping stone for many athletes aspiring to reach higher levels of professional baseball.
In 2019, the Can-Am League merged with the American Association, another independent baseball league, to form a new league structure. This merger aimed to enhance the quality of play and expand opportunities for players, while also increasing fan engagement and market reach in the region.
