Camptosaurus
Camptosaurus was a herbivorous dinosaur that lived during the late Jurassic period, around 150 million years ago. It belonged to the group of dinosaurs known as ornithopods, which were characterized by their beak-like mouths and ability to walk on two or four legs. Camptosaurus could grow up to 20 feet long and had a sturdy body with strong hind limbs.
This dinosaur is known for its unique features, including a long tail and a series of thumb spikes that may have been used for defense. Fossils of Camptosaurus have been found primarily in North America, providing valuable insights into the diversity of dinosaur life during its time.
