The Caminho Francês, or French Way, is one of the most popular routes of the Camino de Santiago, a pilgrimage to the shrine of Saint James in Santiago de Compostela, Spain. This route begins in Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, France, and stretches approximately 780 kilometers (about 485 miles) across northern Spain, passing through various towns and landscapes.
