Cameroon General Certificate of Education
The Cameroon General Certificate of Education (GCE) is an academic qualification awarded to students in Cameroon upon successful completion of secondary education. It is administered by the GCE Board and consists of two main levels: the Ordinary Level (O-Level) and the Advanced Level (A-Level). Students typically take the O-Level exams after five years of secondary schooling, while the A-Level exams follow an additional two years of study.
The GCE is recognized by universities and colleges both locally and internationally, serving as a key requirement for higher education admission. Subjects offered include languages, sciences, and humanities, allowing students to specialize according to their interests and career aspirations.
