California Sea Lions
California Sea Lions are marine mammals found along the western coast of North America, primarily from British Columbia to Mexico. They are known for their external ear flaps, long front flippers, and playful behavior. Adult males can weigh up to 800 pounds, while females are smaller, averaging around 220 pounds.
These sea lions are social animals, often seen in large groups on beaches and rocky shores. They primarily feed on fish and squid, using their keen eyesight to hunt. California Sea Lions are also known for their intelligence and ability to perform tricks, making them popular in marine parks.
