California Rabbit
The California Rabbit, also known as the California Valley Rabbit, is a medium-sized rabbit native to the western United States. It has a distinctive coat that is typically grayish-brown with a lighter underbelly. These rabbits are known for their long ears and strong hind legs, which help them escape predators in their natural habitat.
California Rabbits primarily inhabit grasslands, scrublands, and agricultural areas. They are herbivores, feeding on a variety of plants, including grasses and leafy greens. Their breeding season occurs in spring and summer, with females giving birth to litters of 3 to 8 young, known as kits.
