California Gull
The California Gull is a medium-sized bird commonly found along the western coast of North America. It has a distinctive gray and white plumage, with a black head during the breeding season. These gulls are known for their adaptability, often seen near beaches, lakes, and urban areas, where they scavenge for food.
California Gulls primarily feed on fish, insects, and human food scraps. They are migratory birds, traveling south for the winter and returning to their breeding grounds in the spring. Their populations are stable, and they are often observed in large flocks, especially during migration periods.
