Cacatua
Cacatua, commonly known as cockatoos, are a family of birds native to Australia, New Guinea, and surrounding islands. They are characterized by their striking crests, which can be raised or lowered, and their strong, curved beaks. There are about 21 species of cockatoos, including the popular Sulphur-crested Cockatoo and Moluccan Cockatoo.
Cockatoos are social birds, often found in flocks, and they are known for their intelligence and ability to mimic sounds, including human speech. Their diet mainly consists of seeds, nuts, and fruits, and they play an important role in their ecosystems by helping to disperse seeds.
