CSDP
The Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP) is a key component of the European Union's foreign policy framework. It aims to enhance the EU's ability to manage crises and promote international peace and security through military and civilian missions. CSDP allows the EU to respond to global challenges, including conflicts and humanitarian crises, by deploying resources and personnel.
CSDP is supported by various institutions, including the European External Action Service (EEAS) and the European Defence Agency (EDA). It encompasses a range of operations, from peacekeeping to disaster relief, and emphasizes cooperation among EU member states to strengthen collective security and defense capabilities.
