CRT monitors
CRT monitors, or Cathode Ray Tube monitors, are a type of display technology that was widely used in computers and televisions before the advent of flat-screen displays. They work by firing electrons onto a phosphorescent screen, creating images through a combination of red, green, and blue colors. CRT monitors are known for their deep colors and ability to display high refresh rates.
Despite their advantages, CRT monitors are bulky and heavy compared to modern LCD and LED screens. They consume more power and take up more space, which has led to their decline in popularity. Today, most users prefer lighter, thinner, and more energy-efficient display technologies.
