CPSC
The CPSC, or Consumer Product Safety Commission, is a U.S. government agency responsible for protecting the public from unreasonable risks of injury or death associated with consumer products. Established in 1972, the CPSC develops safety standards, conducts research, and promotes awareness about product safety.
The agency also has the authority to recall products that pose safety hazards. It works closely with manufacturers, retailers, and the public to ensure that products meet safety regulations. The CPSC covers a wide range of items, including toys, electronics, and household appliances, helping to keep consumers safe.
