CHI3
CHI3 is a chemical compound known as trichloromethane or chloroform. It has the molecular formula CHCl3 and is a colorless, dense liquid with a sweet smell. Historically, it was used as an anesthetic and in laboratories as a solvent.
In addition to its historical uses, CHI3 is also a byproduct of water chlorination and can be found in some drinking water sources. Due to its potential health risks, including being a possible carcinogen, its use is now regulated in many countries.
