CEFR Levels
The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, or CEFR, is a guideline used to describe language proficiency levels. It divides language skills into six levels: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, and C2. These levels range from beginner to proficient, helping learners and educators assess language abilities and set learning goals.
Each level has specific descriptors for listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. For example, at A1, a learner can understand and use basic phrases, while at C2, a learner can express themselves fluently and understand virtually everything they read or hear.
