CDISC
CDISC, or the Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium, is a global organization that develops data standards for clinical research. Its primary goal is to improve the quality and efficiency of clinical trials by providing standardized formats for data collection, management, and sharing. This helps researchers, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders communicate more effectively.
The standards created by CDISC include various models, such as SDTM (Study Data Tabulation Model) and ADaM (Analysis Data Model). These models ensure that data from different studies can be easily compared and analyzed, ultimately supporting the development of new treatments and therapies.
