Buster Crabbe
Buster Crabbe was an American swimmer and actor, born on February 7, 1908. He gained fame as a competitive swimmer, winning a gold medal in the 400-meter freestyle at the 1932 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. After his swimming career, he transitioned to acting, becoming well-known for his roles in adventure films, particularly as Flash Gordon and Buck Rogers.
Crabbe appeared in numerous films and television shows throughout the 1930s and 1940s, often portraying heroic characters. His athletic background contributed to his on-screen presence, making him a popular figure in the science fiction and adventure genres. He passed away on April 23, 1983.
