Bushplane
A bushplane is a type of aircraft specifically designed for flying in remote, rugged areas, often referred to as the bush. These planes are typically equipped with larger tires or floats to land on unpaved runways, lakes, or rivers. They are commonly used for transporting people and supplies to isolated communities, as well as for activities like wildlife observation and firefighting.
Bushplanes are often small, single-engine aircraft, such as the de Havilland Beaver or the Cessna 185. Their versatility and ability to operate in challenging environments make them essential for industries like tourism, forestry, and search and rescue.
