Burial Flags
A burial flag is a special flag used to honor the memory of a deceased veteran of the United States Armed Forces. These flags are typically made of nylon or cotton and feature the American flag design. They are presented to the family of the veteran during funeral services as a symbol of gratitude for their service to the country.
Burial flags are usually 5 feet by 9.5 feet in size and are folded in a triangular shape for presentation. The flags can be displayed at the veteran's gravesite or kept by the family as a cherished memento. They are part of the Department of Veterans Affairs benefits for eligible veterans.
