Bunawan crocodile
The Bunawan crocodile, also known as the Bunawan giant crocodile, is a large saltwater crocodile (*Crocodylus porosus*) that was captured in Bunawan, a town in the Philippines. This crocodile gained fame in 2011 when it was measured at over 21 feet long, making it one of the largest crocodiles ever recorded. It was believed to be responsible for several attacks on livestock and possibly humans in the area.
After its capture, the Bunawan crocodile was placed in a specially designed eco-tourism park to promote wildlife conservation and educate the public about crocodiles. The park aims to raise awareness about the importance of preserving natural habitats and the role of crocodiles in the ecosystem. The Bunawan crocodile has since become a symbol of both the region's wildlife and the need for conservation efforts.
