Bulbuls
Bulbuls are medium-sized songbirds belonging to the family Pycnonotidae. They are known for their distinctive, melodious calls and are often found in tropical and subtropical regions of Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. These birds typically have a plump body, a short neck, and a long tail, with many species displaying vibrant plumage.
Bulbuls are primarily frugivorous, meaning they mainly eat fruits, but they also consume insects and nectar. They play a crucial role in their ecosystems by aiding in seed dispersal. Common species include the Indian Bulbul and the White-eared Bulbul, each with unique characteristics and habitats.
