Buddhist Afterlife
In Buddhism, the afterlife is viewed through the lens of rebirth and karma. After death, a person's actions in their lifetime influence their next existence. This cycle of birth, death, and rebirth is known as samsara, and it continues until one achieves nirvana, a state of liberation from suffering and the cycle itself.
The journey through samsara involves various realms of existence, including human, animal, and divine forms. The ultimate goal for Buddhists is to attain nirvana, which represents the end of suffering and the cessation of the cycle of rebirth, leading to a state of peace and enlightenment.
