Buddha Dordenma is a massive statue of Buddha Shakyamuni located in Buddhism-rich Bhutan. Standing at 51.5 meters (169 feet) tall, it is one of the largest Buddha statues in the world. The statue is made of bronze and covered in gold, symbolizing peace and prosperity for the nation. The statue is situated on a hilltop in Kuenselphodrang, overlooking the capital city, Thimphu.
