Brooklyn Bridge–City Hall
The Brooklyn Bridge–City Hall station is a historic subway station located in Lower Manhattan, New York City. It serves the New York City Subway and is part of the IRT Lexington Avenue Line. Opened in 1908, the station features beautiful architecture, including vaulted ceilings and intricate tile work, making it a notable example of early 20th-century design.
This station is unique because it is the only terminal station on the Lexington Avenue Line. Although it is no longer in regular service for passenger trains, it is occasionally used for special events and tours, allowing visitors to appreciate its stunning design and historical significance.
