British Horseracing Authority
The British Horseracing Authority (BHA) is the governing body for horse racing in Great Britain. Established in 2007, it oversees the regulation and promotion of the sport, ensuring fair play and the welfare of horses. The BHA sets the rules for racing, manages racecourses, and works to enhance the integrity of the sport.
In addition to regulation, the BHA is responsible for the development of horse racing, including initiatives to attract new fans and participants. It collaborates with various stakeholders, including trainers, owners, and jockeys, to support the growth and sustainability of British horseracing.
