British Columbia Hockey League
The British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) is a junior ice hockey league based in British Columbia, Canada. Established in 1961, it features teams from various communities across the province. The league is known for developing young talent, with many players advancing to higher levels of hockey, including the NCAA and professional leagues.
The BCHL operates under the umbrella of Hockey Canada and is recognized for its competitive play and strong emphasis on player development. Each season, teams compete for the Fred Page Cup, awarded to the league champion, who then represents the BCHL in the National Junior A Championship.
