British American Racing
British American Racing (BAR) was a Formula One team that competed from 1999 to 2005. Founded by British American Tobacco, the team aimed to create a competitive presence in the sport. BAR's headquarters were located in Brackley, England, and they used Honda engines during their time in Formula One.
The team achieved its best results in 2004, finishing third in the Constructors' Championship. In 2005, BAR faced challenges, including a disqualification due to technical violations. Ultimately, the team was sold to Honda in 2006, leading to the formation of Honda Racing F1 Team.
