Bristol Brigand
The Bristol Brigand is a British twin-engine military transport aircraft developed in the 1950s. Designed by the Bristol Aeroplane Company, it was primarily used for cargo and troop transport. The aircraft features a high-wing design and a distinctive nose that can be raised for easy loading and unloading of cargo.
The Brigand was powered by two Bristol Centaurus engines, allowing it to carry a significant payload over medium distances. Although it was introduced in the early 1950s, the aircraft had a relatively short service life, being replaced by more modern transport planes as aviation technology advanced.
