Breton Language
The Breton language is a Celtic language spoken primarily in the region of Brittany in northwestern France. It is one of the few Celtic languages still actively spoken today, alongside Welsh and Irish. Breton has its own unique grammar and vocabulary, influenced by both French and the ancient Celtic languages.
Breton is recognized as a regional language in France and has seen efforts for revitalization, including education programs and cultural initiatives. Despite facing challenges such as declining speakers, it remains an important part of Brittany's cultural identity and heritage.
