Breed's Hill is a historic site located in Charlestown, Massachusetts. It is best known for the Battle of Bunker Hill, which took place on June 17, 1775, during the American Revolutionary War. Although the battle was primarily fought on nearby Bunker Hill, Breed's Hill was the location of the main fighting.
The hill rises about 62 feet above sea level and offers a view of the surrounding area, including the Boston skyline. Today, it is part of the Boston National Historical Park and features a monument, the Bunker Hill Monument, which commemorates the battle and honors those who fought there.
