Branko Ćopić
Branko Ćopić was a prominent Yugoslav writer, born on July 30, 1915, in Hana, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He is best known for his children's literature and novels that often reflect themes of nature, childhood, and the struggles of life. His works have been translated into several languages, making him a significant figure in Bosnian literature.
Ćopić's writing career spanned several decades, and he was active during a tumultuous period in Yugoslav history. He was also a member of the Yugoslav Academy of Sciences and Arts and received numerous awards for his contributions to literature. He passed away on March 26, 1984.
