Borley Rectory
Borley Rectory was a Victorian house located in Essex, England, built in 1863. It became famous for its association with paranormal activity and was often referred to as "the most haunted house in England." The rectory was home to several clergymen and their families until it was abandoned in the 1930s.
The site gained notoriety through investigations by Harry Price, a well-known paranormal researcher. Reports of ghostly apparitions, strange noises, and mysterious lights attracted public interest. In 1944, the building was destroyed by fire, but its legacy as a haunted location continues to intrigue visitors and researchers alike.
