Boojum
A Boojum is a type of tree native to the Sonoran Desert in Mexico and the southwestern United States. It is known for its tall, slender trunk and unique, bulbous top, which resembles an upside-down carrot. The scientific name for the Boojum tree is Fouquieria columnaris, and it can grow up to 50 feet tall.
Boojum trees are adapted to arid environments and can store water in their trunks. They produce small, white flowers that bloom in the spring, attracting various pollinators. The Boojum is an important part of its ecosystem, providing habitat and food for local wildlife.
