Boiling Lake
Boiling Lake is a geothermal feature located in the Dominica region of the Caribbean. It is known for its hot, bubbling water, which reaches temperatures of around 92°C (198°F). The lake is surrounded by lush vegetation and steep cliffs, making it a popular destination for hikers and nature enthusiasts.
The lake is part of the Morne Trois Pitons National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its unique appearance is due to the geothermal activity beneath the surface, which causes the water to boil and release steam.
