Bohm interpretation
The Bohm interpretation, also known as the de Broglie-Bohm theory, is a non-local hidden variable theory that provides an alternative view of quantum mechanics. It suggests that particles have definite positions and velocities at all times, guided by a "pilot wave." This wave is described by the wave function, which evolves according to the standard rules of quantum mechanics.
In this interpretation, the apparent randomness of quantum events arises from our ignorance of the precise initial conditions of the particles. The Bohm interpretation aims to restore determinism to quantum mechanics while maintaining consistency with experimental results, offering a different perspective on the nature of reality.
