Boccia
Boccia is a precision ball sport that is similar to petanque and bowls. It is played on a rectangular court, where players aim to throw their balls as close as possible to a target ball called the jack. The game can be played individually or in teams, and it is popular among people with disabilities, including those with limited mobility.
The sport is governed by the World Boccia Federation and is included in the Paralympic Games. Players use either their hands or assistive devices to throw the balls, which are made of leather and filled with plastic pellets. Matches are played in a series of ends, and the player or team with the most points at the end wins.
