Bobby Farrell
Bobby Farrell was a Dutch performer and dancer, best known as the male lead of the pop group Boney M.. Born on October 6, 1949, in Aruba, he gained fame in the late 1970s with the group's catchy disco hits, including "Rivers of Babylon" and "Daddy Cool." Farrell was recognized for his energetic stage presence and distinctive dance moves.
Despite his popularity, Farrell's role in Boney M. was often misunderstood, as he did not sing on the group's recordings. Instead, the lead vocals were provided by Liz Mitchell. Farrell's contributions to the group's performances were significant, and he became an iconic figure in the disco era until his passing on December 30, 2010.
