Blue Ray
Blu-ray is a digital optical disc storage format designed to supersede DVD. It offers higher storage capacity, allowing for high-definition video and audio quality. A standard Blu-ray disc can hold up to 25 GB of data on a single layer and 50 GB on a dual layer, making it ideal for movies and video games.
The name "Blu-ray" comes from the blue laser used to read the discs, which has a shorter wavelength than the red laser used for DVDs. This technology enables more data to be packed into the same physical disc size, enhancing the viewing experience for consumers.
