Blu-ray drive
A Blu-ray drive is a type of optical disc drive that reads and writes data to Blu-ray discs. These discs can store high-definition video and audio, making them popular for movies and video games. Blu-ray drives are commonly found in gaming consoles, computers, and standalone players.
Unlike standard DVD drives, Blu-ray drives use a blue-violet laser, which allows them to read smaller pits on the disc, increasing storage capacity. A single-layer Blu-ray disc can hold about 25 GB of data, while a dual-layer disc can store up to 50 GB, enabling high-quality content delivery.
