Blodeuwedd
Blodeuwedd is a character from Welsh mythology, specifically featured in the collection of tales known as the Mabinogion. She was created from flowers by the magician Gwydion to be the wife of Llew Llaw Gyffes, a hero of the story. Her name translates to "flower face," reflecting her floral origins.
In the tale, Blodeuwedd ultimately falls in love with another man, Gronw Pebr, leading to her betrayal of Llew. This act of infidelity results in tragic consequences, including Llew's transformation and Blodeuwedd's own punishment, which turns her into an owl, symbolizing her loss of humanity and freedom.
