Blackfyre Rebellions
The Blackfyre Rebellions were a series of civil wars in the fictional world of Westeros, created by George R.R. Martin in his series, *A Song of Ice and Fire*. They occurred between the years 196 and 305 AC (After Conquest) and were primarily fought between the supporters of the Targaryen dynasty and the Blackfyre pretenders, who were descendants of the legitimized bastard, Daemon Blackfyre.
The rebellions were marked by several key battles and shifting allegiances, as various noble houses chose sides. The conflicts ultimately aimed to claim the Iron Throne, leading to significant political and social upheaval in the realm. The last of the rebellions ended in 305 AC, solidifying the Targaryens' hold on the throne, but the legacy of the Blackfyres continued to influence Westerosi politics.
