Black Exploitation
Black exploitation refers to the systemic and economic practices that take advantage of Black individuals and communities. This can include unfair labor practices, discriminatory lending, and the commercialization of Black culture without equitable compensation. Such exploitation often perpetuates cycles of poverty and limits access to resources and opportunities.
Historically, Black exploitation has roots in slavery and segregation, where Black people were denied basic rights and economic mobility. Today, it can manifest in various forms, including media representation and the appropriation of Black culture by mainstream industries. Addressing these issues requires awareness and systemic change to promote equity and justice.
