Bismarck-class
The Bismarck-class was a class of battleships built for the German Navy during World War II. It included two ships, the Bismarck and the Tirpitz, designed for speed and heavy firepower. Each ship was equipped with eight 15-inch guns and had advanced armor, making them formidable opponents in naval warfare.
The Bismarck gained fame during its maiden voyage in 1941, where it sank the British battlecruiser Hood. However, it was eventually sunk by British forces after a fierce battle. The Tirpitz remained in Norwegian waters, serving primarily as a deterrent until it was sunk by Allied bombers in 1944.
