Bird-of-Paradise
The Bird-of-Paradise is a group of colorful and exotic birds found mainly in the rainforests of New Guinea and surrounding islands. They are known for their striking plumage and elaborate courtship displays, which males perform to attract females. There are about 40 species, each with unique colors and feather patterns.
These birds belong to the family Paradisaeidae and are often characterized by their long tails and vibrant colors. Their habitats are typically dense forests, where they feed on fruits, insects, and small animals. Conservation efforts are important, as many species face threats from habitat loss and hunting.
