Bipeds
Bipeds are animals that walk on two legs. This group includes humans and many bird species, such as sparrows and eagles. The ability to stand and move on two legs allows bipeds to cover ground efficiently and use their front limbs for other tasks, like carrying objects or manipulating tools.
In addition to humans and birds, some primates, like kangaroos, also exhibit bipedalism. Bipedalism has evolved in various species for different reasons, including the need to travel long distances, spot predators, or reach food. This unique form of locomotion is a key characteristic that distinguishes bipeds from other animals.
