Billie Joe Armstrong
Billie Joe Armstrong is an American musician, best known as the lead vocalist and guitarist of the punk rock band Green Day. Born on February 17, 1972, in Oakland, California, he formed the band in 1986 with bassist Mike Dirnt. Green Day gained fame in the 1990s with their album Dookie, which helped popularize punk rock music.
Armstrong is recognized for his distinctive voice and energetic performances. In addition to his work with Green Day, he has been involved in various side projects, including the band Foxboro Hot Tubs and the musical American Idiot, which is based on Green Day's album of the same name.
