Bill Alexander
Bill Alexander was a prominent American painter and television personality, best known for his instructional art program, “The Magic of Oil Painting.” He was born on October 24, 1915, in the United States and became famous for his unique wet-on-wet oil painting technique, which allowed artists to create landscapes and scenes quickly and easily. His approachable style made painting accessible to many people.
In addition to his television career, Alexander authored several books on painting and founded the Bill Alexander School of Painting. His influence continues through the many artists he inspired, and his techniques remain popular among both beginners and experienced painters today.
