Bienen
Bienen, or bees, are flying insects known for their role in pollination and producing honey. They belong to the order Hymenoptera and are closely related to wasps and ants. There are over 20,000 species of bees worldwide, with the most common being the Honigbiene or honeybee. Bees have a vital role in ecosystems, helping plants reproduce by transferring pollen from one flower to another.
Bees live in colonies, which can consist of thousands of individuals. Each colony has a queen, worker bees, and drones. The queen's primary role is to lay eggs, while worker bees gather food, care for the young, and maintain the hive. Drones are male bees whose main function is to mate with a queen.
