Bhira Dam
Bhira Dam, also known as the Bhira Hydroelectric Project, is located on the Koyna River in the Satara district of Maharashtra, India. Constructed in the 1960s, it plays a crucial role in generating hydroelectric power and managing water resources in the region. The dam has a height of 103 meters and a reservoir capacity of approximately 1,200 million cubic meters.
