Bernard Dogs
Bernard Dogs, commonly known as Saint Bernards, are large, powerful dogs originally bred for rescue work in the Swiss Alps. They are known for their gentle temperament, making them excellent family pets. With a thick, water-resistant coat, they are well-suited for cold climates.
These dogs can weigh between 110 to 200 pounds and stand about 26 to 30 inches tall at the shoulder. Saint Bernards are famous for their role in search and rescue missions, often depicted with a small barrel of brandy around their necks, symbolizing their life-saving abilities in harsh conditions.
