Bergelmir
Bergelmir is a figure from Norse mythology, known as a giant or jötunn. He is often associated with the creation myth, where he is said to be one of the few survivors of a great flood that wiped out many giants. This flood was caused by the blood of the slain god Ymir, from whom the world was created.
According to the myths, Bergelmir and his wife escaped the flood by climbing into a wooden box or boat. They became the ancestors of many giants, continuing the lineage of the jötnar. His story highlights themes of survival and the cyclical nature of creation and destruction in Norse lore.
